School Cancellations
If the Hudson Public Schools close due to snowy weather, all Trinity Academy, preschool-8th grade, will also be closed. Watch morning news programs on Channel 5 or Channel 9 for school closing announcements.
Childcare programs will remain open whenever possible. In case the childcare program needs to be closed please watch Channel 5 and look for the “Trinity Academy Wrap-care, Hudson” scroll for closings. Please call if you have any questions.
Parents will be contacted by phone for early closings due to emergencies such as inclement weather or facility service loss. Trinity utilizes the Remind App; if you are a new family to Trinity please contact the school office for specific details on how to sign up.
Trinity Academy typically does NOT close for cold weather. In the event that Hudson Schools are closed because of cold preschool will be closed and school bussing is not available. Parents will need to drive students to school. If a family determines that this is unsafe for their family the child will have an excused absence. Please contact the school office to report the absence.
In the event of an early dismissal, parents will be notified and asked to come to pick up their children early. Daytime phone numbers and/or cellular numbers are crucial for this communication. It is good to plan ahead and have an alternative person available to pick up your child if you work outside of Hudson.
In the event of a 2-hour late start, morning preschool classes will be canceled, but afternoon sessions will be held.
Evacuation Plans and Drills at 6th Street West Campus
In the event of situations requiring evacuation, students will be evacuated to
Willow River Elementary or St. Pat’s School depending upon the situation. Drills will occur on a regular schedule to ensure students and staff understand instructions and procedures.
