At Trinity Academy our students are formally assessed using the following tests. These standardized tests are a snapshot of student performance.

- Kindergarten – 5th Grade: Reading Assessments
DRA (Developmental Reading Assessment)
Fountas and Pinnell (leveled reading assessments)

- 3rd Grade: CogAT, Winter Trimester
Appraises the level and pattern of cognitive development of students. The test measures both general and specific cognitive abilities.
- 1st–8th Grade: IOWA BASICS, Fall Trimester
- Kindergarten: IOWA BASICS, Winter Trimester
